- Exterior - From the exterior it is a traditional hotel, although it has a modern conservatory attached at the front, with a pleasant seating area where guests can enjoy a drink or a light snack.
- General - This is a pleasant family run hotel, it enjoys fantastic views of the Lock and the mountains, and is located in the town centre. The hotel also has good parking facilities.(10/01/02 lp)
- Lobby - The lobby is medium sized and the decor is traditionally scottish.
- Location - This privately owned hotel is situated in the heart of the city centre. This is traditionally one of the most renowned hotels in Fort William.
- Restaurant - The restaurant is located in a large room on the ground floor and is decorated with dark wooden furniture serving a set dinner menu.
- Rooms - The bedrooms are medium in size and nicely decorated in a traditional style. The bathrooms are medium in size on average and are in good condition, some with wooden floors and others with white tiles.
