Hotel Reports
- Exterior - This is a traditional hotel.
- General - All 3 floors of the hotel are accessible by lift. Guests can also relax in the comfortable atmosphere of the lounge on the first floor. The hotel can also cater for conferences. August 1998
- Lobby - The lobby area is very small, with a small reception desk.
- Location - This hotel is situated in the heart of the medieval old town, in the historical grassmarket, in the shadow of the Castle. Edinburgh Castle, Royal mile, Holyrood Palace and numerous other historical places are all a leisurely stroll from the hotel.
- Restaurant - There is one restaurant but there is also a bar, which faces the grassmarket. Every sunday night there is live music with traditional Scottish and Irish music as well as numerous real ales!
- Rooms - The bedrooms are all recently decorated in light modern colours. They are quite small however. All rooms have remote control t.v. Many of the bathrooms are shower only.
