Hotel Reports
- Exterior - The hotel is modern with a large conservatory area situated on the side with views over the square.
- General - Opened in September 2001 the hotel now boasts one of the finest spa and health clubs in Europe. Spread over six floors, 'One' spa includes a 19-metre ozone friendly swimming pool, aromatic baths, Hydrotherapy pool and 13 treatment rooms offering E'SPA holistic therapies. The health club has sauna and steam rooms as well as a state-of-the-art fitness studio. It should be noted that children up to the age of 17 are only able to use the swimming pool within One Spa between the hours of 3pm - 5pm each day and also bewteen 8.30am - 9.30am on Saturday and Sunday.(ML 11/02)
- Lobby - The lobby is dominated by an impressive sweeping staircase and is tastefully decorated with tartan fabrics.
- Location - The hotel is situated off Festival Square, close to the the Castle and a short walk from Princes Street.
- Restaurant - There are 2 restaurants. The more informal looks out onto Festival Square, and with its conservatory it gives a very bright, breezy feel. The more formal restaurant is very elegant and is darker, retaining the characteristics of a Scottish baronial mansion.
- Rooms - The rooms are large in size and are kept in very good condition along with the bathrooms. Rooms have nice decor and furnishings in tartan colours.
