Exterior - A classically elegant Georgian townhouse, built for the Lord advocate of Scotland. In keeping with the hotel's character the hotel entrance is very discreet.

Lobby - The chequered tiled lobby is small and intimate with oak panelling and a open fire and grand staircase. Each guest is offered a complimentary drink upon arrival in the Grand drawing room.
Location - The hotel is situated among the quiet leafy Georgian terraces of the west end of Edinburgh. It is a few minutes walk from Haymarket station or Princes street and approximately 20 minutes drive from the airport.
Restaurant - There is no restaurant. All meals are served in the rooms and are of very good value for such high standard.
Rooms - It has classic and grand suites designed for 2 guests and townhouse apartments designed for 4 guests. Each room is very individual and of the very highest standard. The suites are very large with views over the city, whilst the townhouses are the height of luxury. Each room has a stocked fridge, mini bar, microwave, and entertainment centre.
