- Exterior - It is a traditional hotel built approximately 200 years ago.
- General -
- Lobby - The lobby is small in size with one area for seating. The decor is modern in design.
- Location - This hotel is situated a couple of miles from the city centre of Edinburgh. It is set in its own grounds with splendid views of the Forth foreshore.
- Restaurant - The restaurant offers traditional foods and there is also a bar area which is set out in a bistro style. August 1998
- Rooms - The rooms are medium in size and the bathrooms are in a fair condition. The decor is modern, but could do with a little updating.
