- Exterior - The hotel has a small modern facade and entrance on a traditional side street.
- General - This is a very good standard hotel in a superb location.(ML 06/01)
- Lobby - The lobby is very small and modern.
- Location - Situated in the heart of Edinburgh's Georgian district this hotel is very close to Princes Street and all the main tourist attractions.
- Restaurant - A light continental breakfast is served in the rooms, consisting of cereal, semi-skimmed milk, orange juice, nutrigrain bar, crispbreads and butter and preserves. As the hotel is located in Edinburgh's bar and restaurant district there is no shortage of alternative dining options.
- Rooms - All the rooms are brand new and in excellent condition. The decor is modern with bright pastel colours; either green or blue, with light wood furnishings. The rooms vary in size from medium to very large. The bathrooms are also in excellent condition.
