- Exterior - The hotel is a traditional Georgian building.
- General - A small, friendly hotel with character located in one of Edinburgh's most impressive Georgian terraces.(ML 04/01)
- Lobby - The lobby area is small and traditional in design. The reception desk is dark wood and the original tiles laid when the hotel was built form the floor.
- Location - This hotel is situated in the west end of Edinburgh about a thirty minute walk from Princes Street.
- Restaurant - The hotel has one restaurant which is traditional in design as well as a small bar area. The bar was originally a drawing room and has dark wood panelling.
- Rooms - The rooms are of a very good standard and are traditional. The decor is warm pinks and greens. The bathrooms have been modernised and re-tiled.
