- Exterior - The hotel is a purpose built modern, yellow brick building.
- General - The hotel is only 4kms from Edinburgh city centre and situated in the increasingly fashionable waterfront of Leith.(ML 03/03)
- Lobby - The lobby area is bright and contemporary.
- Location - The hotel is in Leith, on the waterfront by the moorings of the Royal Yacht Britannia. Ocean Terminal, Edinburgh's stylish new shopping and leisure complex, is adjacent to the hotel.
- Restaurant - There is n hotel restaurant, but there are a number of atmospheric bistros and restaurants within easy walking distance.
- Rooms - The rooms are of the same standard, medium in size and with contemporay decor and furnishings. All have telephone and modem point, work desk, satellite TV, hospitality tray and power shower as standard.
