Hotel Reports
- Exterior - The main entrance to the reception building is modern, whilst the accommodation blocks themselves are modern and purpose-built.
- General - Ideal for groups of friends travelling together, requests can often be accommodated in one building.Stag, hen and sports parties are welcomed and can be contained by themselves in one building, away from individuals looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay in a very convenient location.(ML 03/03)
- Lobby -
- Location - Edinburgh First is part of the main University of Edinburgh campus located within walking distance of the Royal Mile and many of the main attractions. The hotel buildings are set in the shadow of Arthur's Seat, the magnificent extinct volcano that rises 800 metres above the city.
- Restaurant - Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served in the John McIntyre Centre in the heart of the campus grounds. Light meals can also be taken in the bar.
- Rooms - The complex is comprised of both single standard rooms with shared facilities and single and double en-suite rooms. All are of a good basic standard with bright pastel decor and light wood furnishing. The double en-suite rooms are located in Masson House, whereas the single en-suite rooms are in Holland House. All rooms are serviced daily and linen, toiletries and towels are all provided. Tea/coffee making facilities are standard and all rooms are non-smoking.
