- Exterior - A modern building.
- General - Opening in summer 2002, the hotel is due to be a very stylish product with a great location at the very top end of the 4-star market. There will be health and leisure facilities.(ML 06/02)
- Lobby - The lobby is due to be modern and stylish.
- Location - Situated in the centre of Grassmarket in the shadow of the Castle in the Old Town, The Apex City is located next door to its sister hotel, the Apex International.
- Restaurant - The restaurant and bar options have yet to be confirmed but will continue along the hotel themes of cool, airy, spaciousness.
- Rooms - The rooms have been designed to be contemporary and chic and will all feature a lounging area, CD, DVD, games console, oversize desk, bath and separatre power shower. Also featured are pillow options and mini bar.
