Hotel Reports
- Exterior - Modern, snugly situated between two larger buildings on either side. The facade is mainly large shopfront windows on lobby level.
- General - This is the most popular "eastern european style" hotel in Bucharest. It is very popular with the Romanian government which tends to block book. Watch for traffic noise. March 1998
- Lobby - Large, light and airy. Central seating area with access to bars and restaurants adjacent.Fittings in leather with dark wooden tables. Floors in dark marble with wooden and lighter marble relief provided in pillars and walls.
- Location - Hotel Bucuresti is located in central Bucharest near to main city square. It has very good bus and metro connections. It is near to the theatre, central library, central bank and all major landmarks.
- Restaurant - Are located off the main lobby. The main restaurant is to the rear of the hotel with access to a terrace.
- Rooms - First floor are renovated. Older rooms are standard basic 3/4 star quality with older furniture in darker colours. The rooms are all clean. The newer rooms are lighter, more refreshing blues and yellows with new furniture in lighter wood.
