- Location - The Garcia D'Orta is located in the Alto Alentejo region, near the cities of Portalegre, Evora Castelo Branco, and the neighbouring area of the Spanish Extremadura and its historic cities of Merida, Caceres and Badajoz.
- Restaurant - In the castanha restaurant prepare the centuries-old recipes, a genuine example of a local wisdom succesfully combining simplicity, wholesome food and careful cooking. Traditional on its style.
