• General - Also on offer for guests are sports and recreation facilities; the Gymnasia Health Club, a temperature controlled swimming pool, floodlit tennis courts, kids pool and playground, squash courts and of course the beach and the beautiful gardens. (BL 01/2003)
• Lobby - The large hotel lobby with the reception to the left leads to the various outlets and shops.
• Location - Ideally located in the prestigious "Qurum Heights" area and set in 10 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, the hotel enjoys the most breathtaking view over the Gulf of Oman from its cliff top position. 20 minutes by car from Seeb International Airport. The main shopping area is also nearby.
• Restaurant - There are 8 outlets. Shiraz with Iranian cuisine, served in an oriental environment. Come Prima - Authentic Italian food delicately prepared with a touch of mediterranean seasoning. The Tropicana - Casual all day dining in poolside surroundings. Al Qurum Lounge - relaxing lounge with an unique sea view serving freshly baked pastries and a selection of your favorite tea and coffee. Al Raouche - traditional Lebanese specialities. Duke's Bar - popular pub grub bar with live entertainment. Pool bar and restaurant and Gulf Rock Terrace. All outlets are of an extremely high standard.
• Rooms - The renovated rooms are medium size and luxuriously appointed with individually controlled air conditioning, international direct dial telephones with voice mail, satellite TV and in-house music channel. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with shower. Many rooms offer a sea view or private terrace.. Unrenovated rooms are the same size, but however are only in fair condition, as are the bathrooms.
