Hotel Reports
- Exterior - It is a brown stone building, with a weather-beaten look to the brickwork, Although at ground level the facade is extremely modern.
- General - This new hotel ranks Alongside the best hotels in Bergen and with its maritime feel has managed to create its own unique, high-quality atmosphere. (10/01EA)
- Lobby - This is small, with modern furnishings setting the maritime tone for the whole hotel. Adjacent is an attractive bar and cafe.
- Location - The First Marin is located a few steps up the hill from the famous bryggen waterfront of central Bergen, close to the fish market.
- Restaurant - Located on the ground floor behind the main reception area and the elevators, this is a brightly-decorated, open-plan room with deliberate views behind the serving counter into the kitchen.
- Rooms - All rooms vary in size but on average are medium-sized. All are in exceptional condition. Most have wooden floors, comfortable blue, red and green furnishings and again, theme motifs based on the sea.
