- Exterior - This is a landmark hotel consisting of a wooden building of Swiss architectural style. The main building houses the reception, restaurants and 16 rooms.
- General - The Kvikne hotel is one of the most famous in the Fjords of Norway. The main building is a magnificent structure. The actual rooms do not match the grandeur of this building but a stay in this htl is an experience. 05 aug 98
- Lobby - The lobby of the hotel is large and traditional. It has a souvenir shop and a bar area.
- Location - The Kvikne hotel is located on the banks of sognefjord, the longest and widest of All Fjords in the world.
- Restaurant - The restaurant is located in the main building, it is large and commands excellent views.
- Rooms - The rooms of the Kvikne hotel are medium in size and are in fair condition. The standard rooms are housed in the modern wing which connects the main building at a 90 degree angle. The rooms are basic but All come with a magnificent view.
