Hotel Reports
- Exterior - A historic Art Deco building, formerly a department store, beautifully restored. Adjoining tower is more contemporary.
- General - Superb old style hotel, beautifully refurbished, suitable for travellers who enjoy 'old world' elegance and style.VU0201.
- Lobby - The main Lobby is beautifully renovated, very pleasing to the eye, especially for those who enjoy 'old world' charming hotels. The tower lobby is contemoprary, but equally nice.
- Location - Located in the city centre, 2 blocks from Queen Street shopping Centre, 5 minute walk to Waitemata Harbour and America's Cup Village.
- Restaurant - An award winning restaurant off the Lobby, Hectors, set in hotel's 7 storey atrium, canopied with palm trees and shade cloth, specilising in Pacific Rim cuisine. In the Tower a modern restaurant on the level above lobby.
- Rooms - Rooms are beautifully appointed, with all modern facilities but with old world charm, warm wood, high ceilings, timber floorboards. Tower rooms are more contemporary, blending French inspired antique designs contrasting modern furnishings.
