- Exterior - This building is a tower featuring extensive use of glass.
- General - This is a five star product and very international in its style. VU1200
- Lobby - The lobby is very large but a bit dark. Comfortable lounge area on the mezzanine level.
- Location - The Carlton is situated at the top end of Auckland, away from the Harbour and five minutes walk into the heart of the city.
- Restaurant - There are three Restaurants and a Bar off the Lobby.
- Rooms - The rooms are very large and luxuriously appointed and, along with the bathrooms are of an exceptional standard.
