Hotel Reports
- Exterior - Recently renovated, the lobby is now very large as it is a u-shape and incorporates the welcome area when there is a conference. The lobby is a lot brighter than it used to be as the colour scheme is predominantly blue with large and comfortable sofas and armchairs and modern lighting and furniture. A much needed improvement.
- General - This Holiday Inn is a unique property and was the first Holiday Inn in Europe. With the extension of the lobby, most sporting facilities have gone and when the restaurant is renovated, the childrens area will also disappear, however, it remains a good product and and a good position from which to explore Holland thanks to Leidens first class train connections. - Location - The Holiday Inn is located 20 mins drive to Amsterdam and 10 mins from the beach, in the heart of tulip land. Train station is a 5 min drive.
- Restaurant - This is located on the ground floor. It is unique in that it resembles a tropical Garden with a lot of greenery, a small waterfall and a play area for children. There is also a thatched roof bar. The pirate ship bar is located next to the reception and serves light snacks. Due to be renovated.
- Rooms - Typically Holiday Inn style, most rooms have been renovated, ie new bedspreads and curtains, and all overlook the restaurant.
