Hotel Reports
- Exterior - The exterior is very modern and distinctive as the whole of the outside of the buliding is covered in mirrored glass and has a bright yellow canopy over the entrance of the hotel.
- General - This is a very pleasant, small hotel in an excellent location as it is only a short train journey from Amsterdam and perfect for those wanting to be close to Amsterdam but not Actually in Amsterdam. Feb2001
- Lobby - The lobby is small and very unique because when you enter the hotel, the reception is Actually a small desk with a huge bowl of m&m's which creates an informal, cosy and relaxed atmosphere.
- Location - The Golden Tulip Leiden is centrally located opposite the railway station and a 5 minute walk from the shopping area of Leiden.
- Restaurant - The restaurant is located on the ground floor and serves breakfast and light snacks. It has wicker furntiure and attractive ceiling fans which evoke a slight mediterranean feel.
- Rooms - The size of the bedrooms vary although they are all medium. They are decorated quite femininely with flowers and pale colours. The quality of most of the bedrooms is good although some are only fair and could do with a face-lift.
