- Exterior - The hotel is in a traditional building dating back to the late 1890’s.
- General - This is a good warm boutique style designer property in central Amsterdam. It is recommended. (0802/JWF)
- Lobby - The lobby, bar and reception is one open area, contemporary designed to fit with the nautical and relaxed atmosphere. A large reading table with magazines and newspapers separate the bar from the lounge.
- Location - Overlooking the Vondel Park, the hotel is around the corner from PC Hooftstraat, the most exclusive shopping street in Amsterdam, and within walking distance of The Van Gogh museum, Rijksmuseum, the Modern Art museum and the lively Leidseplein with casino, restaurants and bars.
- Restaurant - The breakfast room is decorated in warm dark colors with wooden floor.
- Rooms - The rooms are medium in size with some single rooms being smaller. All are in good condition with contemporary nautical décor offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Rooms are well-equipped and deluxe rooms air-conditioned. The bathrooms are in good condition.
