Hotel Reports
- Exterior - The hotel is a 10 storey modern block which has some pleasant views over the surrounding area, especially from the upper level.
- General - The building itself and public areas of the hotel do not reflect the excellent standard of the rooms which are better than those in some four star hotels. August 1998
- Lobby - The medium sized lobby is decorated fairly basic and there are steps leading to a basic bar and lounge area.
- Location - This hotel is located not far from the city centre, bordering on Oosterpark and next to the Tropen Museum which is part of the Royal Tropical Institute (K.I.T). Directly within the vicinity are the Soeterijn Theatre, shops and the daily "dapper" market. The famous Waterloo Square, Artis Zoo and Hortus Botanicus are only a short walk away.
- Restaurant - The restaurant is a large dining room lacking any real atmosphere, although newly decorated.
- Rooms - The bedrooms are virtually all medium sized. They are all tastefully decorated in modern style with pastel coloured carpets and contrasting furnishings in bright patterns. The small bathrooms are in very good condition as they are brand new.
