Hotel Reports
- Exterior - The traditional building is not particularly attractive. However, it has been restored to blend in with its surroundings.
- General - This hotel is situated in an excellent location, right in the heart of Amsterdam. 12/02/jg
- Lobby - The medium sized lobby has been renovated and now has marble flooring and, whilst it is sparsely decorated with only 2 armchairs, it looks fairly elegant.
- Location - Located near to the Rijks Museum, this hotel overlooks the Lido and casino complex and a brand new Hard Rock Cafe. It is only a short walk from the well-known Leidseplein with its terraced restaurants and is within walking distance of all major tourist attractions.
- Restaurant - The restaurant is located to the rear of the hotel and can seat a large number of diners. The cuisine is varied and the prices are reasonable and there is also an entrance on the street. This room is quite dark and atmospheric with dark wood and red colourscheme.The traditional bar also offers light snacks throughout the day and has good views of the city.
- Rooms - The rooms are small to medium in size. The majority are comfortably and simply decorated in modern style.. The bathrooms are, on the whole, in good condition. Typically English, the rooms have tea/coffee making facilities. Some rooms command pleasant views overlooking the Vondelpark.
