Hotel Reports
- Exterior - A beautiful, traditional building with the kitchen of the famous restaurant at water level so that during a canal cruise, the kitchen is included in all canal cruises "places of interest".
- General - Well located, very deluxe hotel. 0998/0800EJ
- Lobby - Although this is a very grand and stately hotel, it is a little old fashioned. However, the lobby area itself is fairly small but beyond it, there is a very large lounge area with chandeliers, comfortable furniture and views overlooking the canal. Afternoon tea may be served in here and the entire hotel has an air of class.
- Location - Located in the very centre of town overlooking one of the main canals, it is within walking distance of Central station, and the shopping area as well as the Rembrandtsplein.
- Restaurant - The hotel has a bar/restaurant at lunch that offers a very special deal for individuals, but the hotel also has a very famous a la carte restaurant that at the time of this report was a michelin restaurant.
- Rooms - All bedrooms are medium sized and are all very different but all are in good or very good condition and are continually being decorated. All have antiques in the rooms and are very luxurious.
