- Exterior - The 37 storey high hotel is beige and an imposing structure on the Penang waterfront. It is a new building (built in 1998) and features a attached little entertainment mall with many cafes and restaurants.
- General - A new property with excellent furnishing and high comfort levels. Situated in the city waterfront and within a 20 minute drive to the beach areas. It features itsown water-themed park and and activities for children and adults. AC03/2001
- Lobby - The lobby is large and bright with full length glass. The light marble and modern furnishings gives the lobby a contemporary feel of a modern deluxe hotel.
- Location - Located along the renowned tourist belt of Gurney Drive, adjacent to the new Central Business District and is less then five minutes away from all major shopping complexes and corporate towers. The hotel is 25 kilometres from the Penang International Airport.
- Restaurant - Eating and entertainment outlets consist of the following outlets: Coffee House, Starbucks, Beer Terrace, Red 'n' White, Ichiban Restaurant, Food Court, Wine Terrace, The Lounge, The Bistro, Road House Grill, The Cafe and Karaoke Suites
