Hotel Reports
- Exterior - The resort is based upon the design of traditional malay village homes, using a mix of dark hardwood and terra-cotta tiles.
- General - Langkawi is one of Malaysia's top destinations, with a rich interior of rain forest, white beaches and clear water providing both adventure and relaxation. Nov98
- Lobby - The lobby is large with the reception to one side and large lougne area in the centre where drinks are served and a band plays at night. The lobby opens out onto restaurants gardens and the pool towards the back.
- Location - Langkawi is the largest of 104islands situated between the andaman sea and the straits of malacca. The Pelangi Beach resort is 7kms from the airport within 25acres of gardens and pools with large beach on the west coast.
- Restaurant - There are a number of restuarants including the spice markets which serves international and local delicacies, the niyom Thai for authentic Thai cuisine., the beach front bbq called tepian centang, and a number of bars/lounges and even a discotheque.
- Rooms - The large rooms are fully airconditioned all with private balconies. The facilites are what you would expect of a deluxe property. The bathrooms have shower and are large with plenty of room for clothes.
