- General - This is primarily a business hotel or for longer staying guests.
- Lobby - The lobby is of large size, with tasteful furnishings.
- Location - Johor bahru is known as the southern gateway to Malaysia, and the Grand Bluewave is just 5 minutes away from the Singapore-johor bahru causeway, nearby the duty-free zon shopping complex.
- Restaurant - The two main restaurants servec Chinese and Japanese cuisine, for local malay and western favourite there is a coffee house called orient express. In addition to these food outles there are a few bars and lounges where drinks are served.
- Rooms - This apartment style hotel has large rooms in fair condition, each room comes with attatched kitchnette area. The bathrooms are medium in size and in good condition.
