• Exterior - The huge monolithic block fronts the theme park and lake - superior outward facing rooms provide, when the clouds and weather permits, excellent views of the entire Genting Resort as well as, for the nature lover, views of the surrounding primary forest and hills. The off-white building is accented with splashes of greens and blues that distinguishes it from the rest of the buildings. The green and blue roof at the base of the building houses a huge convention centre that can cater to every imaginable meeting or convention need.
• General - A tourist class property that provides good value for money accomodation on the world largest resort where rooms can be hard to come by. For the category, one cannot be disappointed with the rooms. The superior rooms with a view are the best value.
• Lobby - The lobby is huge and the concept of checking in is via taking a number and waiting for your number to be flashed on the board. A little different from normal hotel check ins procedures but it provides the most efficient way to expedite check in.
• Location - Located on the peak of the world's largest resort complex of Genting Highlands, the First World hotel is the world's largest with 6,000 rooms. With walking access to all of Genting's facilities - the theme park, casino, restaurants, etc - the First World will fill the tourist class niche for the economy conscious traveller
• Restaurant - Located within the resort are more than 80 food and beverage outlets catering to every taste and whims. From fast food to continental fine dining.
• Rooms - The rooms come in tow categories - standard and superior. Standards rooms face an airwell in the interior of the building whilst the superior rooms give great views of the resort or the surrounding hills. The rooms are small providing just enough space for one to walk around the beds. The wardrobe is an open concept shelving system with a mini TV. The rooms are very basic with no amenities. Water is available at common points along the corridor. Being cool all year round (18 to 26 celcius), rooms are non airconditioned but a ceiling fan is provided. Bathrooms are with 2 facilities with standing shower and toilet.
