- Lobby - The hotel has a large, modern lobby.
- Location - This hotel stands as the cornerstone of Nairobi. Centrally positioned, its relaxing atmosphere provides luxury and comfort just metres away from the bustle of the city.
- Restaurant - The hotel has an enviable reputation for great food, whether just for an informal snack or cuisine of the highest International standards. It is famous for its "Thorn Tree" pavement cafe, which was a favourite observation post of Ernest Hemingway. The thorn tree, in the days before modern communication, was used as a bulletin board for notices and messages from the settlers that lived in the more remote parts of Kenya.
