- General - The hotel offers a place to enjoy fresh air and tranquility. During the day guests could take a sailing dhow to Matodoni the place where the dhows are built, visit the 16th century Takwa ruins, go fishing or snorkelling at Manda Toto. The fabulous Shella beach is a 15 minute boat ride away, with its 14 km of golden sands backed by sand dunes.

- Restaurant - The hotel has a rooftoop restaurant with one of the finest views in Lamu, offering a good selection of seafood dishes and Swahili delicacies. Vegetarians are catered for.
- Rooms - The hotel has 14 well finshed double rooms, 10 with private and 4 with shared bathrooms. All rooms have fans, mosquito nets and telephone. The hotel has its own reliable water supply.
