- Exterior - The hotel is 8 stories high and is somewhat old looking.
- General - Overall, this hotel is in a quiet peaceful setting making it ideal for the traveller wanting to relax and enjoy Kyoto.
- Lobby - The lobby is medium in sized with limited sitting room. There is a coffee shop that is attached to the lobby. There are central staircases leading to the lower floors here more restaurants can be found.
- Location - The hotel is located in the center of Kyoto right across from Nijo castle. Nijojo-mae subway station #2 exit is only a 3 minute walk from the hotel. Kyoto station can be easily accessed by the subway or bus. There is an Airport Limousine bus that leaves from the hotel for Kansai International Airport.
- Restaurant - There are 6 restaurants and bars in the hotel. The "Nijo" and "Unkai" restaurants are popular for their atmopshere and good food.
- Rooms - All of the rooms are very comfortable and clean. All of the bathrooms are are equipped with a shower and bathtub. All of the modern amenities can be found in the rooms. Even though the hotel is somewhat older, the rooms are very comfortable and for the most part are spacious.
