- General - This hotel is located at the base of the hill on which stands the old town of Assisi, in a suburb known as santa maria degl'angeli. This is a purpose built, modern hotel, built in the late eighties. The lobby area is small and intimate, modern in style, with small public areas. The restaurant is not located within the hotel but as an annexe at the far end of the hotel building. It is traditional in decorative style. The bedrooms are of two different sizes, and they are all basic in their decor and furbishment, but comfortable. All the bathrooms are with showers. Overall, this is a very good, superior tourist classhotel, modern, simple in decor, but comfortable. Jan '98
