- Exterior - This is a protected building which was built around the thirteenth century, the early renaissance period. The building is protected by the Italian government
- General - The hotel is a very good property in the heart of 'old Florence'. It is now in better condition than ever having undergone extensive renovations. 0800DM/0900ZS
- Lobby - The lobby is small and recently renovated. The ten foot long reception desk is situated directly opposite the main entrance with the lift and stairs to the upper floors on the left.
- Location - Situated thirty metres from Piazza Duomo and only ten metres from Piazza Santa Maria Novella this hotel is ideal for easy access to all of Florence's major attractions.
- Restaurant - Situated on the first floor the breakfast room is unique with frescoes on the ceiling.
- Rooms - Due to the antiquity of the building all the rooms differ in size and shape. All the rooms have very high ceilings.
