- Exterior - The building was originally a fourteenth century castle/fortification & was converted to a hotel in 1986. .
- General - Sept'98
- Lobby - Small in size with stone walls, antique oil paintings and heavy ornate wooden furniture and fittings. .
- Location - Situated in its own extensive grounds in the countryside outside Como roughly 08km from the City centre. There is regualar public transport from near the hotel to the City centre. .
- Restaurant - The hotel has various rooms which can be used for dinner & b/fast. All are in keeping with the rest of the hotel with original stone walls, stone floors and traditional furniture. Cuisine can be Italian and int'l.
- Rooms - 90% of the rooms are large with the remainder being medium in size & all are in good condition as are the bathrooms. Being a fourteenth century castle all vary in size and in decor but all are have traditional castle decor with wrought iron beds, dark wood tables, stone floors & many with fireplaces.
