Hotel Reports
- Exterior - The hotel is a restored, traditional victorian building and looks very elegant. Two spires compliment the red brick building along with white balconies.
- General - This is a cosy hotel, ideal for fits. A good alternative to Dublin. The hotel has undergone renovations over the last 2 years. Mar 1998
- Lobby - The lobby is very small with a reception desk and 2 sofas. It is a fairly dark room with an adjoining lounge.
- Location - The Esplanade hotel is located on the sea front in Bray, within easy reach of centre and main shopping area.
- Restaurant - The restaurant is called 'lacy's ' and serves table d'hote and a la carte menues. Large tables are available for those who wish to dine in groups. It has an open fireplace, high ceilings and blue floral decor.
- Rooms - The rooms vary in size from small to large. 90% are kept in good condition and 10% are in fair condition. The bathrooms are in good condition. Rooms located on the front of the hotel have spectacular sea views. The decor is old fashioned in pink and reds. The few large rooms have an open fireplace and very large bay windows.
