Hotel Reports
- Exterior - A large modern, white hotel with a large entrance which looks particularly attractive in the evenings.
- General - This hotel is ideal as a touring base for any traveller as it combines both comfort and convenience with genuine Irish hospitality. (ML 02/01)
- Lobby - The Hillgrove lobby is large with sky lights making it bright. There are antique pictures on the walls and large persian rugs covering the floor.
- Location - The hotel is close to Monaghan town yet within minutes of the county's tranquill countryside.
- Restaurant - The Cavendish restaurant is very intimate and has panoramic views of Monaghan town, and presents an extensive choice of menu while the less formal bracken restaurant provides visitors with the opportunity to savour the variety of the cavery and grill menus.
- Rooms - The hotel has 44 bedrooms, all of similar size and standard. The rooms are decorated in deep red and brown colours and are in excellent condition. Four poster beds are available in certain rooms. All have full facilities.
