- Exterior - The hotel is traditional in appearance and was founded in 1820. It is steeped in tradition and history and has become a focal point for those who live, work or holiday in Limerick.
- General - Most rooms have already been refurbished and are of excellent quality. (ML 02/01)
- Lobby - The lobby is small but very cosy with a few armchairs and a small reception desk. Stairs lead from the lobby to all bedrooms. The decor is quite modern and attractive. The bar area leads off from this. Also stairs lead down to the coffee shop which is very popular with the locals.
- Location - The hotel is situated in the heart of Limerick city and is ideally suited for all the major attractions. Shannon International airport is only 20 minutes drive away whilst bus and rail services are within 5 minutes walking distance.
- Restaurant - The hotel restaurant offers extensive a la carte and table d'hote menus amid the ambience of a sophisticated and elegant dining room. It is also a self-service bistro grill.
- Rooms - The hotel has 54 bedrooms including 8 executive style suites. The rooms are on average medium in size and in good condition. The decor consists of patterned borders on the walls and dark wooden furniture. They all have ensuite bathrooms.
