- Exterior - The hotel is a modern, low-storey building with large glass windows and attractive surrounding gardens.

- Lobby - The luxurious elegance of this hotel is evident from the lobby, which is large and airy and has an ornate ceiling decoration.
- Location - The hotel is set on a hill, in the countryside of Aghadoe, just outside Killarney town centre. It has its own 10 mile stretch of riverbank and is close to numerous golf courses. The view from the hotel is a stunning panorama of Killarney's lakes.
- Restaurant - The hotel's restaurant has a superb rooftop setting and is widely acknowledged as one of Ireland's finest restaurants. Fresh seasonal produce and seafood specialities are combined with culinary expertise and flair, and are served in elegant surroundings.
- Rooms - The rooms are large in size and there are several suites. The rooms are in excellent condition with dark wood furniture and pastel fabrics. The bathrooms are spacious and of a high standard. All rooms have been recently refurbished, making them of the very highest quality.
