- Exterior -
- General - This is an excellent hotel for budget groups, particularly for family groups or students, due to the high proportion of multi-bedded rooms. Can also be used for fits wishing to stay by the sea. Malcolm lindop october 1998
- Lobby - Small and traditional, the lobby is due to be extended and enlarged in 1999.
- Location - The Eglinton is located right on the promenade on Galway's coastal area of salthill. The hotel faces the sea and is only 10 minutes from the city centre.
- Restaurant - The restaurant caters primarily for groups and is adjacent to the traditional Irish pub.
- Rooms - All the rooms have been renovated for 1999. They are tastefully decorated and many will contain 04 beds. The bathrooms also have been completely refurbished and are in good condition.
