Hotel Reports
- Exterior - This is a traditional hotel which was built in 1870. The building is very elegant and grand with a long driveway winding through the ornate gardens to the main entrance. The panoramic views from this hotel are particularly spectacular.
- General - This is an excellent 3 star hotel which is in particulrly fine condition. Perfect as an alternative to Dublin.(ML 02/01)
- Lobby - The hotel lobby is medium in size and is also very grand with an old fashioned feel. The concierage and main reception desk can be found here along with a seating area with elegant sofas.
- Location - The hotel is set in its own spacious gardens overlooking Dublin Bay and is approximately 20 minutes away from the city centre by light rail.
- Restaurant - The Powerscourt restaurant has been recommended by Egon Ronay and is a very tasteful and luxurious dining room. There is a wide variety of choice on offer along with some real luxuries.
- Rooms - The hotel has 104 exceptional condition bedrooms including 08 victorian suites which feature 4 poster beds. All rooms are ensuite and have remote control tv, hairdryer, telephone and garment press. The rooms are decorated in tasteful dark shades and stylish furnishings.
