- Exterior - This is a large, traditional, five storey building.
- General - The Hotel has an extensive leisure centre, with swimming pool, sauna, gym and massage rooms. (0398/0300KA)
- Lobby - The lobby is medium in size, with a seating area.
- Location - Situated in the heart of Cork, on the banks of the river Lee, this Hotel has been one of the city's premier Hotels for one hundred years. Due to its proximity to Cork's commercial and entertainment centres, and its easy access to so many historic and beauty spots in the area, the Hotel is an ideal base for business or touring.
- Restaurant - The Riverside restaurant overlooks the famous river, and the room is very elegant, dimly lit, with large windows. The Waterside Cafe is open all day offering light meals and snacks.
- Rooms - The bedrooms are in good condition after being newly decorated. They are either small or medium in size, with soft pastel shades, and built-in wardrobes to create more space.
