- Exterior - Modern, low rise building with fountains and gardens outside the entrance.
- General - The killykeen lounge bar is an open public bar owned by the hotel. This is an ideal property for visitors who require peace and quiet and a relaxing visit. (02/01 ML)
- Lobby - The lobby is medium in size with modern decoration and furnishings.
- Location - The hotel is situated in the heart of Ireland's lakeland district in the town of Cavan.
- Restaurant - The Annalee restaurant boasts a wide selection of dishes including local game and fish. The restaurant is fairly basic in design and decor but the layout creates a spacious room.
- Rooms - The 39 en-suite bedrooms have been recently refurbished and are all in excellent condition. The rooms, on average, are medium in size with a few particular small rooms. Facilities include 24 hour room service, multi-channel tv and hair dryer.
