- Exterior - Traditional hotel, a gem of architectural beauty, which recalls a victorian way of life. Hotel is a red brick building with white trimmings.
- General - Ideal hotel for group or fit's. Hotel has lots of conference facilities too. Aug 1998
- Lobby - The lobby is small but tastefully decorated in theme with the overall style of the hotel.
- Location - Hotel stands on the banks of the river suir and is about five minutes from the centre of Clonmel. The hotel has been tastefully modernised to blend with its century-old setting and history.
- Restaurant - The restaurant is oak panelled and furnished in soft pinks and overlooks the gardens and the river suir. Dishes served include traditional Irish dinners and local produce.
- Rooms - All bedrooms are medium in size and in good condition. Some of the bathrooms are in a fair condition. All rooms are decorated with floral prints , in soft pinks and blues. Certain rooms have superb garden and river views.
