- Exterior - New hotel built in a traditional style.
- General - One of the best hotel in the area ideal for those exploring Donegal and the west coast. (02/01 ML)
- Lobby - Lobby is small, but smart.
- Location - The Abbey hotel is situated in the heart of Donegal town.
- Restaurant - The Eske restaurant serves both a la carte and set menus, whilst lighter snacks are available in the Corabber lounge. The As Dun bar is particularly impressive set over two tiers.
- Rooms - The rooms are of a medium size and decorated to a high standard. As a new hotel the rooms are in excellent condition. Most rooms offer panoramic views over Donegal bay and the river Eske.
