- Exterior - Traditional brightly coloured hotel, street-facing.
- General - A good base from which to explore the countryside of Kerry and west Cork, the hotel has been in the same family for over 40 years. A new addition is the health and leisure club, featuring a 16m pool, gym, steam room and solarium.(ML 01/02)
- Lobby - Small and traditional.
- Location - Situated in the centre of the lively town of Macroom.
- Restaurant - The restaurant serves good value meala, whilst the bar is very lively.
- Rooms - The rooms are in good condition.
