- Exterior - The Esja is a large, modern office block style building with a row of shops and eateries at ground level.
- General - A good modern hotel with all necessary facilities, close to the city centre. 0902RY
- Lobby - The lobby is small and the reception is a long dark desk separated by a wall from an area of comfortable seating.
- Location - The Esja hotel is located a short walk from the sea, overlooking miles of rugged scenery. It is approximately 15 minutes walk from the shopping centre area of Reykjavik.
- Restaurant - The restaurant is a cosy size, with simple furnishings, the emphasis is on being a meeting place.
- Rooms - The rooms are newly renovated. They are medium in size and of course in exceptional condition along with the bathrooms. All rooms are modern and furnished in soft, light colours and have a comfortable business-like feel.
