Hotel Reports
- Exterior - The imposing building is a fine blend of the traditional and the new. With a particularly grand entrance and beautiful flowers in its small gardens.
- General - This is one of Germany's best known and most respected hotels. 03/01
- Lobby - The lobby and public areas are splendidly decorated and well appointed. High ceilings, columns and panelled alcoves supply the setting for fine period furniture and gilt framed paintings.
- Location - This magnificent hotel is centrally located in this historic town, set back from the road behind a short private courtyard-cum-drive.
- Restaurant - The 17th century German style restaurant is almost entirely of highly polished wood with a splendid decorative ceiling. The more formal gourmet restaurant has fine views over the patio and the fountains. It is decorated with ornate chairs and chandelier lighting. There is also a modern coffee shop.
- Rooms - The rooms vary in style and size according to their position in the hotel, though on average they are large. The new wing has modern style rooms and those in the older part of the hotel have a traditional feel with period furniture. All rooms and their respective bathrooms are, of course, in exceptional condition.
