Hotel Reports
- Exterior - The building is appealing and of an old style with attractive window surrounds. It is painted in pale browns and beiges and has a steeply slanting tiled roof.
- General - This is a friendly hotel with a family run service and attention to guests. It is recommended as a hotel with local flavour rather than modern convenience. 02/01
- Lobby - The very small lobby area has plenty of greenery and is lit by a chandelier.
- Location - The hotel is situated in a mainly residential area between the station and the castle. The entrance is in a quiet side street.
- Restaurant - The restaurant, which is on the ground floor, is traditional in both its atmosphere and decor, with rustic furniture.
- Rooms - The bedrooms have matching furniture in complementary pale colours with contrasting colourful rugs. This is an old building and not a purpose built hotel, so rooms vary in shape and size but, on average, they are medium sized. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in good condition.
