- Exterior - It is large, modern, dark grey tower block, which is set back off the road, surrounded by trees.

- Lobby - The lobby is very large and elegantly furnished. The carpet has a brown beige pattern and the walls are covered with dark wood panelling. There are several seating areas furnished with heavy traditional leather seats. Overall, the lobby is very elegant.
- Location - The hotel is situated on a quiet side street near the outer Alster with city centre, shopping areas and fair ground within walking distance.
- Restaurant - The grill is on the top floor. It is a traditional, elegant restaurant, decorated in beige and dark browns. The walls are partly covered with dark wooden panelling and partly with fabric. The large windows offer magnificent views of the city.
- Rooms - The rooms are large and furnished to a high standard. They have large windows, which on the upper floors offer great views of Hamburg and the alster. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in the exceptional condition one would expect of an intercontinental hotel.
