- Exterior - The architecture of this building is very interesting combining art deco style with modernism.
- General - (0598/0700ka)
- Lobby - The large lobby has a circular shape with a marble tiled floor, partly covered with carpet. The ceiling is supported by pillars and is partly mirrored. There is a unique waterfall in the lobby and a large spiral staircase.
- Location - The hotel is located at the "Berliner Tor, a busy junction point between suburban Hamburg and the city centre, with public transport connections within walking distance.
- Restaurant - The restaurant, which adjoins the lobby, also has a semicircular shape and the walls at the entrance are painted in a miro/kandinsky style. The furnishing is modern and there is a piano for live entertainment. The restaurant opens out onto a wooden tiled terrace which is used in the summer months.
- Rooms - The rooms are medium sized and are decorated to a good standard in sometimes unusual colour combinations, such as dark purple curtains and red sofas. Again, their style is an interesting mixture of modern and art deco.
