- General - Situated within easy reach of the motorway and the town centre the hotel is a square block building with a long, low building built on to the side. There are car Parking facilities in front. The hotel has peaceful surroundings with pleasant gardens and outside seating areas. The bedrooms are very large, elegantand comfortable with wide windows from ceiling to floor and most have a view onto the Park, terraces and sunlawns. The restaurant is decorated in dark brown wood and has a rather old fashioned but genteel appearance. The carpet is heavily patterned and thick, there is a lot of brass decoration and candles. Overall impression is of sedate comfort. *not visited* 26 february 1994
